WORKSHOP: Writing with Curiosity
by Shivaun Plozza
Description
This session takes students through my process of using curiosity to spark unique and engaging story ideas.
Using examples from my new novel, Meet Me at the Moon Tree, students will see how I harnessed curiosity to create a story premise, character development, plotting, etc. Students will have the chance to explore their own curiosity to develop a unique story idea of their own.
Topics covered:
* The importance of curiosity in creative endeavours
* How to use curiosity to generate story ideas
* Turning the spark of an idea into a fully-fledged story
