What not to do if you want to be a writer
by Gabriel Bergmoser
Description
Nobody’s path to writing success is straightforward, and no two journeys are alike. In this session I chart my own rocky path, from growing up making bad short films in a small country town to my years as a ‘professional vampire’ at Dracula’s Cabaret, working on the independent theatre circuit, receiving the most vitriolic review of all time, winning a ticket to the International Emmys, and finally becoming a bestselling author. I share some of my biggest embarrassments and explore how they directly led to my biggest successes.
