What separates the stories we love from the stories we, well, don’t? In this workshop we explore how to tell a story in a way that is gripping, entertaining and logical, looking at the difference between stories that keep us on the edge of our seat and ones that put us to sleep. The session will take in examples from Harry Potter, Star Wars, Jaws and Toy Story to explore how they build a constantly escalating and surprising narrative.
