What is an illustrator and what does their work process look like? Sher Rill will provide a demonstration of how she begins an illustration project and how to develop a character. Students can follow along, learning how to draw a basic human figure.
An additional/alternative workshop, talks about storyboarding and how it is a powerful tool for visual storytelling.

Requirements
Data Projector or drawing board with easel. Table and chair to place the computer. Slideshow (no audio). Students to have paper and drawing pencils, or their own drawing tablets Sher Rill will bring: Mac laptop computer (with adaptors) Drawing tablet Sjer Rill will need: HDMI cable/connector to the Projector
