Tim Bain

Tim is an international TV writer for beloved children’s series including Bluey, PJ Masks, Fireman Sam, Bob the Builder, Thomas & Friends and Aardman Animation’s Morph.

He is the creator of ABC Kids’ hit action-comedy series Kangaroo Beach, and Let’s Go, Bananas, based on his family life as a gay dad. His latest show is action-adventure Knee High Spies about a crack team of puzzle-solving toy spies, featuring state-of-the-art puppets and animatronics.

Tim has won three Australian Writers Guild Awards, but his proudest moment is writing a gag for MC Hammer (naturally about parachute pants). Tim offers an entertaining and funny session about his job as an animated TV writer making kids laugh.
