Chris Hammer
Chris Hammer is a leading Australian crime fiction novelist, author of the internationally bestselling Martin Scarsden series – Scrublands, Silver, Trust, and now Legacy – as well as his other award-winning series features homicide detectives Nell Buchanan and Ivan Lucic. He is also the author of the nonfiction titles, The River exploring the Murray-Darling Basin and The Coast, a celebration and investigation of Australia's coastlines.
Now a full-time author, Chris was a journalist for more than 30 years, covering federal politics and travelling as a roving foreign correspondent.

Haven't I seen you before?
I was a television journalist for many years, reporting for SBS TV's Dateline and World News, as well as for the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age websites.
