Zine writing and creating workshop

by Andrea Rowe

Description

Let’s design and write zines,

Part writers workshop, part designers collaboration, zine making encourages self-expression and captures authentic stories. Zines are written and designed entirely by own voices of local youth who have stories to explore, or share.

Making zines is a super sneaky way to encourage writing and self expression. Zines are handmade publications that can become a one off collectors item, or a new creative outlet. They’re affordable and FREE to make, and fin to swap and collect too. Once you start zine-ing, it’s hard to stop!

Making zines are a great way to introduce students to the methodology of storytelling and narrative skills
