“Agatha Christie, if she was a teenager.” Troy will talk about his writing and his journey to having two Gus crime books published, with a third on the way in 2027. He will also discuss the inspiration behind his Gus books and why he wanted to write these stories. 


Troy’s presentation will also cover how to craft a mystery and keep the reader guessing. He will also share some personal stories about persisting with your writing and answer any questions participants have.

Requirements

Access to a data projector or big screen/monitor that I can connect my laptop to. Microphone only needed if the room/group is large File formats are Mac. I will have a Mac laptop with a HDMI cable. I will have my presentation also on a spare USB in case of issues (in both PowerPoint and PDF). No embedded videos in my presentation. I do not need access to the internet.
