Wild writing (years 4 – 6, ideally)

Hosted by award-winning author Andrea Rowe, students will have fun deep diving into imagination and creating adventurous characters in sensational settings inspired by wild and wonderful places.

This is their chance to GO WILD and have fun creating characters and worlds worth exploring.

This session features:
  • Create a wild character
  • Develop a wild world
  • Write from the senses
  • What wild problem will your character overcome?
  • Go wild imagining

 

Story Soup (years 6 – 8, ideally)

A bowl full of printed words, a pen to stir them and an appetite for creating stories.

Fill yourself up with Story Soup. Award-winning author Andrea Rowe dishes out the story making fun.

This session features:
  • Playful writing exercises
  • Interactive plot development
  • Creating characters
  • Building conflict and exploring solutions
  • Stretching writing skills
