Weird Accounts and Strange Tales

Using Pu Song Ling’s classic seventeenth-century collection, Strange Tales From A Chinese Studio, as a starting point, Leanne discusses short and weird stories, unusual newspaper articles and popular urban myths. Students devise their own Strange Tale to pitch to their classmates, and plan the steps they need to take to turn it into a fully-fledged short story.
