Wai Chim – On The Slasher Life (Being an Author, Analyst and Survivor)
by Wai Chim
Description
Author, System Analyst and former Survivor contestant Wai Chim knows a thing or two about feeling like a fish out of water. Growing up straddling two cultural identities, as a young person she was unsure how a uni degree in English and half of one computer science would help shape her future prospects. In the modern day hustle culture, where young people feel the pressure to make big decisions and have it all figured out, Wai talks about following your passions through multiple ‘careers’ and not fitting into a single idea of success.
