The Play Date Queen

Kim looks at her popular first reading series Ginger Green, Play Date Queen. Kim looks at how she came to write this series, the children whose stories she channels, and how authors take something real and make it fantastical. Kim then looks at why she chose a fox as a character. Finally, the children look at adjectives and try to brainstorm some new Ginger titles.

The presentation is fast-paced, visual and fun suiting children in junior primary. A craft component can also be introduced if desired.
