The Language of Comics

I am a comic book maker and someone who is interested in discussing the ways that comics work. This session covers the different ways that comics have been produced over the last 100 years, and also introduces elements of comics making to the students. We discuss and draw the various elements that belong inside the panels, and also discuss and workshop the idea that between the panels is where time elapses in comics, and that this can be very different, one panel to the next.
