A creative writing workshop designed to fire up imaginations and get ideas flowing. We will experiment with a variety of prompts to generate ideas and get tips on how to work out which one has legs and turn it into a fully-fleshed out story.
  • Uses a variety of prompts including photos, sentence fragments, settings and a treasure box of objects to cater to both visual and verbal thinkers.
  • Questions to ask yourself to determine which ideas are worth pursuing.
  • Includes handouts to support character and plot development.

Requirements

Projector or TV with HDMI capability (Cassy will bring laptop and HDMI cables). Whiteboard and markers. All participants will need writing materials (paper or notebook and pens).
