This workshop unleashes the power of graphic storytelling, celebrating new ways of seeing, learning and communicating. After establishing some basic terminology and the mechanics which move visual stories, participants will undertake a series of exercises to find their own visual narrative voice. Reflecting on everyday experiences, discover the magic in the mundane and find stories where you didn't see them before. Enjoy seeing yourself come to life in this truly unique medium.

Requirements

Data projector and laptop. I can send my Powerpoint presentation via the web, or transfer it directly from a USB stick. Students will need multiple sheets of A4 sized paper, pencils and other drawing tools of choice. If preferable, some students may wish to draw on a tablet, using Procreate software or equivalent.
