Community is made in lots of different ways and is important for lots of different reasons.
This session will explore who are the important people in Joe from Onkaparinga Lane’s community, what do they do and how do they help Joe celebrate his special day.
Students will also explore who are the important people in their own lives and communities, what they do and why this is important to them.
Students will be encouraged to consider the different types of roles and jobs people have, and the different activities people enjoy along with the things people from different ages, cultures and backgrounds have in common and how this helps build a flourishing community.
