Primary Author Talk

Travel through time with me as I give a slide show of the very first stories I wrote, from the time I was in Prep, all the way to Grade Six! (Spoiler alert: I was a morbid child.) Even though it might seem like I’d always become a writer, the journey there actually had lots of twists and turns.

Using my book Iris and the Tiger, I’ll describe how I get ideas for my stories, and where inspiration comes from -paintings, movies, strange dreams, my own family background and more.
