This monologue performance celebrates words, stories, rhymes and rhythms. It grew from Ailsa’s 1300 kilometre walk across Spain, and herPoetica programme on ABC Radio. It celebrates the songs of the road and the call of the heart, and brings together Ailsa’s triple-threat skills of actress, director and writer. It is funny, tender, uplifting – and proof that the pen is mightier than any sword.
