Online Session: The making of Missing Marvin
by Sue deGennaro
Description
This session will include talking about the process of making of Missing Marvin, Winner of the Children’s Peace Literature Prize 2019.
Within zoom I will have a power point showing the process that it took to create the picture book. The power point will include looking at rough drawings, the editing process and reflecting on all the redrawing it takes to come up with the final artwork.
Each session will include a reading of the book as part of the powerpoint.
The second half of the session will include a live drawing session where I will draw with the students a series of characters from the book. Each student will leave the session with a collection of drawings.
