Online Adventure

by Anna Ciddor

Description

This entertaining, interactive session is as close as possible to a live event with plenty of opportunities for questions and answers. I use PowerPoint to provide lots of show and tell, and spice up the presentation with bloopers and fun quizzes.

Topics covered:

  • the making of THE BOY WHO STEPPED THROUGH TIME (or an alternative book of your choice)
  • tips on research, especially using primary sources,
  • the importance of planning
  • the importance of drafts
  • tips on writing, especially historical fiction and time slip
  • illustrating secrets
  • amazing facts about ancient Romans (or other historical periods)
