My Writing Journey
by Bradley Christmas
Description
This session aims to inspire students to draw on their own experiences and memories as the starting point for stories.
In the session I take students on the journey I went on to turn a simple idea into a novel. I look at some of the key building blocks I used to build my story (place, character and story climax).
Also in this session I show the evolution of my storytelling through poetry, short fiction and songwriting, showing students there are many way to share stories and express creativity.
