Idan’s Evolving Interactions

by Idan Ben-Barak

Description

Since I write about many non-fiction topics and I find nearly everything interesting, I’ve designed a session to reflect that. I have about two dozen images on the screen, and the students get to choose which topics we talk about. Depending on your choice, you might hear about pineapples, paradoxes, or fungal artillery; you might shout at me about dangerous animals; you might be asked to touch your nose; you might even get a lollipop. No two sessions are the same but they’re all fun, engaging and show children the world from new and interesting angles.

Topics Covered:
  • Science, with emphasis on microbes, senses, the brain
  • The art and writing of the picture book
