How to Write a Page-Turner

by Emma Bowd

Description

As a successful and internationally published author of a fiction novel for adults, Emma loves to share everything she has learnt about the craft of creative writing with Primary School students. And she especially loves to ‘hold the hand’ of reluctant writers through the entire process of story writing, to give them the skills and confidence for their own writing.

In this session, Emma shares the books and stories that she has co-created with Primary School students in her ‘Writer in Residence’ programs since 2016, to showcase how ideas are everywhere and closer than we think. And that a great story is always just on the tip of your tongue!

This workshop is tailored for longer form narrative fiction story writing.
