Learn the different ways food can be used in fiction and how this creates connection and adds depth to stories. Students will explore food in children's books, looking at examples from popular fiction and Sandhya's picture books, and then they can write their own story adding food as comfort, connection to culture, a character quirk or as a plot device. This engaging 45 - 60 minute workshop is suitable for class-sized groups of up to 40 students. Suitable for grades 4 and up.
