Fabulous Frogs
by Cassy Polimeni
Description
Learn amazing facts about frogs (for example, did you know they eat with their eyeballs?) and why they are so important to our environment. What is an indicator species and how do they help scientists monitor our environment?
Cassy shares how bush kinder adventures with her daughter inspired her to write a series all about Ella and her adventures with animals – particularly frogs, and how she worked with illustrator Hykie Breeze to create the series and bring the characters to life.
Includes a reading from the book the opportunity to create our own live frog orchestra based on a scene from the book, with an audience member playing the role of conductor. Optional craft activity: create a paper chatterbox or origami frog, as featured in the books.
