Don't Quit Your Day Job
by Tobias Madden
Description
A "backstage, all-access pass" to author life.
After working as a music theatre performer for 10 years, I decided to pivot to writing and publishing. Six years later, I now have three published novels (plus a short story anthology) and I'm the Digital Marketing Manager at a publishing house in New York City.
In this session I'll explore my own publishing journey, helping students understand how to get their stories published, and how to create a sustainable life as an author (or other creative) - not only financially, but physically and mentally, too.
