This workshop explores the concept of creativity, the pitfalls, the joys, and the places we find it. The session blends the authors creative writing experience with collective ideas on the importance of curiosity. Students will engage in writing activities about setting and place in poetry and prose.

Audience

Upper Primary, Lower Secondary

Duration

2 x 60 minutes. Can be adapted to suit client needs such as condensing to an hour session

Requirements

Laptop/PC to connect to whiteboard for PowerPoint presentation. Butchers Paper and a large space. Author will bring USB stick, personal laptop - File in PC format. Author will provide task sheets and word docs to site contact prior to the event. Students will need tablet, PC, paper, pens, markers.
