Creating Characters

Description
After a brief 20 min presentation on his work, including some early examples of his drawing. Chris will work with the students, to create a unique character and build a story around them.
Using his one of a kind “Totally Random Character Generator”, Chris and the class will brainstorm, plan and draw the character together.
Then as a group, Chris will walk through the stages of crafting a story around these weird and wonderful creations.
With over a million potential character combinations, every class is almost guaranteed to draw something new, wacky and unexpected.
A typical session will produce 2-3 characters (Time permitting)

Requirements
Access to a large projector or large screen TV with HDMI connectivity. Chris will bring his own Mac laptop and necessary cables in order to connect to the screen. A table to the side of the screen for the laptop and access to power. A large drawing pad with A-Frame stand and markers or whiteboard. Drawing paper and pencils for the class. Tables or clipboards for students to lean on.
