This highly entertaining session covers the stories behind the stories, family inspiration, life as an author and the creative writing process from ideas and research to publication. Belinda discusses writing some of her books from The Sun Sword Trilogy, a fantasy adventure series written for her own three children, her Pippa’s Island series about friendship, families, diversity and coping with change to her award-winning Australian historical, time-slip series including The Ivory Rose, The Forgotten Pearl and The Lost Sapphire.
