A Journey from Harlem through Hip-Hop to finding faith

Growing up in a challenging community distracted by crime, violence and broken family, I found ways to dream and have hope. Sports became my outlet with dreams of becoming a professional. Trauma and anger plagued my community. All I could do is wish for a way out and going away to college provided me further hope. Life’s journey took me through many phases of life and even forced me to challenge my own belief system and forced change.
