Nomadism, human/animal interaction, desert ecology, Aboriginal lives in remote Australia, courage and vulnerability.

World wide. Tracks translated into twenty languages. Desert Places and Ancestors translated into about half a dozen languages.

I have written for international magazines including London Times, TLS, Stern, National Geographic, Bunte, Geo, Granta, The Monthly. My essays have been collected in international and Australian anthologies.
