“It was wicked, good wicked!” –Johnny, Braemar College
Students write in a team of up to four and perform their poetry to the classroom. Subjects are workshopped on the board. What drives you crazy? What are you passionate about? What does your generation want to say? What do you think of Facebook? Do you think the future is bright? How cool are One Direction? Are they cool at all?
Students pick a subject and using team writing guidelines they create a piece of theatrical ‘slam’ poetry which is then performed for their peers.
