Fiona Harris is one of Australia’s top female comedienne’s and writers. She wrote and performed on television comedy shows Skithouse, Comedy Inc, Prank Patrol, was head writer on the children’s ABC television show, Prank Patrol, and has authored various children’s book series/including The Super Moopers, Miraculous and Trolls books for Dreamworks.
In her Community, Creativity and Connection session, Fiona uses breath work, meditation, building a character, imagination work, voice work, games, exercises and improvisation to help students hone their writing and performance skills. highly specific to each age group. This is a wonderful session for keeping our kids connected, as well as developing skills and a passion for creating through imagination, play and text.
Breaking the content down into bite-sized chunks, Fiona will take smaller groups off into separate “rooms” to continue the whole group learning in a deeper way. Before concluding, everyone will return to the group room to share their discoveries.
Some of the topics covered include scriptwork, improvisation, building confidence, joining a community, curiosity, creativity, characterization, structure and timing.
