Daniel Witthaus: Beyond Priscilla

In this session, challenging homophobia educator, Daniel Witthaus, takes the audience on a 266-consecutive day drive around regional, rural and remote Australia to get a modern day snapshot of how lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) people are living their everyday lives. His simple aim was to challenge homophobia one cuppa at a time.

Throughout, Daniel will share everyday stories of LGBTI people – collected over 100s and 100s of cuppas, and available in his second book, Beyond Priscilla – and what this means for rural Australia.

Daniel ends with what works, and doesn’t, for LGBTI people from every nook and cranny of the country.
