Creating fun (and weird) characters and using them in a story is easy! This workshop with use the loveable cast of the Barkly Mansion junior fiction series to help students think about what they need to make their own character, and how they can use this character to begin a story. Get their creative brains working in a fun, interactive workshop, with a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of Barkly Mansion, and some short, engaging writing exercises to kickstart students’ storytelling. Perfect for reluctant young writers, budding writers, and all dog-enthusiasts!
