Annie is a Global Educator, and a Teach Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Ambassador.
Annie strongly believes that we are all global citizens and wants to share the mantra of “Think Globally, Act Locally.” By thinking globally, children learn empathy and cultural diversity. From there, Annie believes children and their teachers form connections and are more likely to take ownership and invent, innovate, and campaign for change.
I was born and raised in Melbourne, but recently I have been lured by the ocean to live along the windswept Bellarine.
I have had an eclectic career all connected to education, but in a nutshell, I have designed & delivered programs, created content for educational publishers and taught in both private and public sector schools.
The constant theme is being an advocate & presenter for United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in Global Education
When I discovered the Global Goals and my educational outlook became global and applying and being successful to become a Teach SDGs Ambassador.
I am passionate about the Global Goals as they are the true global curriculum, full of optimism and hope for students, teachers and school community members.
