Via quizzes & lateral thinking, the Wordburger session will stir kids to invent words, play with imagery, unravel puzzles & maybe solve a few cryptic clues.
David is Australia’s best-known word-juggler. He’s the dictionary bloke on SBS’s Letters & Numbers, as well as a crossword creator for the Fairfax papers. His Wordplay column appears in the Sydney Morning Herald, while his many language books – Wordburger, Puzzled, Riddledom & Cluetopia – continue to inspire kids, and new puzzle fans. A gifted speaker & energetic performer, David was also awarded Most Outstanding Sessional Teacher at RMIT in 2004.
