The journey from childhood into adult can be arduous for many, especially when they also have to cope with issues or racism and discrimination. Coming from the war torn country of Somalia, traveling through many countries and surviving on the streets of Australia at the young age of fifteen, I have faced and overcome hardship.
I aim to inspire others with my story of what is possible for us all, and show how by overcoming our challenges, we can achieve more than we thought conceivable.
