Fiona Harris: Television Performance

Session Info:

In her workshop, Fiona takes the students through a range of improvisational role-playing games and exercises as a way of getting the students to explore characterization.

Fiona then takes the students through the process of how a program is rehearsed, blocked and filmed, giving students an insight into the behind-the-scenes workings of a television program.

The students are divided into groups and given scripts from well-known television programs to work on.

Fiona works on the various scenes with the individual groups, giving students’ direction and feedback, culminating in each group performing their scenes for the rest of the class.
