David Miller: Paper sculpture picture book illustrating

Session description:

I’ll bring some of my paper sculpture illustrations. I will also bring a Power Point that shows how I make my books. I will read one of my books and explore it with the students. Someone will ask me how long it takes me to make a sculpture so we can talk about that and inspiration, research, planning, how to make paper sculpture. Towards the end of each session I will help your students make a paper sculpture working from some I have designed. Could you please make photocopies from the masters included in this envelope on sheets of A4 cover paper in a range of colours. The children will just need a pair of scissors each. I have included a sample of paper with the desirable thickness.
