In this talk, Sean will educate students about their own brains. If students can understand basic brain concepts like the battle between the emotional brain and rational brain or maximising their creative output or problem solving abilities, they are better placed to implement simple strategies to great effect.
Sean presents relevant neuroscience research in a simple but interesting way and relate it to practical outcomes they can use in their studies and life. In particular, Sean focuses on how exercise and food intake impacts the brain, changing neurochemicals and hormones which in turn change the way you think, feel and then act.
