A humourous talk on my experience of not quite fitting in at school, and the process I went through in working out that you don’t want to get to the end and wonder ‘what if?’.
I talk about auditions I stuffed up and gigs I stuffed up – like the time someone hurled a flipper at my head. I discuss the importance of learning from your mistakes, dusting yourself off and having another crack. These are the valuable lessons that have helped me along the way in comedy, radio and writing.
Then we all hold hands and sing “Kumbaya” (that bit is optional).
