Finding your genius and having the best life ever!

Session Info:

Teenagers have more opportunities than ever before and technology means that they have connectivity 24/7 and access to information about everything. However teenagers are now the most medicated generation ever and have more issues including mental health, suicide and risk taking behaviours.

What happens in the teenage years can influence the rest of their lives. Teenagers really need to know that their own personal gifts and talents are their most valuable assets. They need a way to set their own compass so that they can make healthy life choices despite the external pressures of peers and technology.

Using latest research, practical advice, storytelling and personal experience from his 30 years as a father, doctor and mentor, Dr Rubinstein ensures all students leave motivated and with tools to help them successfully navigate this critical time in their lives.

Topics covered

  • Latest research around teenage health and wellbeing
  • How to determine the life path best for you
  • The critical importance of a healthy personal identity
  • Dealing with peer group pressure and the stress of becoming an adult
  • The relevance of creating modern day Rites of Passage in the lives of teenagers
