Small or big, reliable or not, memories are the footprints of our past and hold the answers to our present. Our memories, experiences, struggles, successes shape our character and it’s only when we explore these moments on pen and paper and see how they fit in the jigsaw of our lives do we understand why we act, react, speak, live a certain way.
This workshop is an interactive, fun and informative way for young people to explore life, themselves and each other. Participants will use fictional writing elements (senses, setting, figurative language) to explore their memories and write a scene in a creative way that will motivate, capture their interest and help them interpret themselves and their world.
