Michael is a well known author, commentator and presenter. He is a familiar voice on radio. As well as writing his own books, he has reviewed over 900 books for The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald. He is the author of Bypass: The story of a road.
I was a Jesuit for twenty years and am currently the Head of faith and Mission at St Kevin’s College in Melbourne. I have been at different times publisher of Eureka Street, editor of Australian Catholics and fiction editor of Meanjin.
I have a great interest in the life of the spirit, especially the spirituality of teenagers.
