Matteo is an interactive storyteller who develops the imagination of his audience along with their listening and thinking skills. His sessions are interesting, fun and engaging.

What other jobs have you had?

I managed the Fairy Shop in Chadstone, but for the past six years I have worked for Museums Victoria helping to look after the Royal Exhibition Building.

What themes are recurring in your work?

Overcoming adversity, then (history) and now, the magic of our world.

What have been the highlights of your career?

Storytelling tour of New Zealand, a weekend on Bruny Island for the Tasmanian Story Festival. Seeing the beautiful effect storytelling can have on people from babies through to elders and how it can bring families together!

What are you passionate about?

Stories, music, art, humans, the natural world.

Haven’t I seen you before?

Perhaps at Moomba or the Royal Show, a festival? How about your birthday party when you were a kid?!
