From dragging sleds to the North Pole to sailing tiny yachts to Antarctica, Matt McFadyen has been there and done that. At the age of 29 Matt has spent the last decade pushing himself to his physical and mental limits while exploring some of the most remote parts of the globe.

What have been the highlights of your career?

In 2004 I became the youngest Australian to reach the North Pole on foot. In 2005 I was nominated for the Young Australian of the year and in 2010 became an Australia Day Ambassador.

What are you passionate about?

I am passionate about inspiring young people. Helping them understand that with hard work and commitment that they can achieve anything in life. I also encourage young people to dream big and take opportunities in life and to never be afraid to fail. I am also passionate about the Polar regions and the effects of Climate change in these beautiful parts of our planet. Through my presentations I hope not only to inspire and Motivate but to educate as well.

Haven’t I seen you before?

My expeditions have appeared in magazines and news papers around Australia and Internationally. I have been interviewed on 2UE Radio ABC National 2GB and BBC UK. I have also been interviewed on the Today show live in the studio and also live crosses from my expeditions including speaking live via satellite phone while sitting in my tent at the North Pole.

My presentations vary from Primary Secondary and Corporate groups. All of my presentations are tailored to suit specific themes and are accompanied with stunning photo’s video footage and audio.
