Liv is a passionate and engaging speaker with over 15 years of experience working across the corporate and non-profit sectors across both Australia and the US.
As a registered psychologist and qualified meditation teacher, her sessions bring a balance of science and practice and are interactive, fun and practical.
In her role as a mindfulness educator, she brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to her sessions through sharing both her personal and professional experiences.
I was born in Melbourne (boring I know)
My first job was at a cheesecake shop – that didn’t really work out as I was too busy out the back, eating the chocolate ganache (that was supposed to go on the chocolate mud cake), that I neglected customers in the store. Then, while I was studying psychology I worked as an Applied Behavioural Analysis therapist with kids with autism and learning delays, which led me to work in a psychosocial rehabilitation program with young people with mental illness. I loved that work and learnt so much from my amazing clients. I decided however that at the age of 23 I wasn’t quite ready to save the world so I entered the corporate HR consulting space – where I stayed for about 10 years. After the administration of thousands of psychometric assessments and the development of many behavioural competency frameworks, I moved back into the clinical space and started working in a private practice counselling role – it was here I formally discovered mindfulness while completing a mindfulness based therapy course with Dr Craig Hassed. I knew in a split second that my life’s purpose was to first learn and to then teach mindfulness – my brain exploded with the number of applications of this powerful technique so I set up my organization, Liv Mindfully. Liv Mindfully provides mindfulness-based solutions to organisations, schools and the general public though workshops, programs and coaching interventions. And, now, I am pretty sure that given the right cape and a nice tiara, I could actually save the world.

Partnering with Smiling Mind and Beyond Blue to design the Mind the Bump app to support new and expecting parents through offering free mindfulness meditations and tools.
Having the absolute honour to walk alongside hundreds of amazing and dedicated people as they go on their own mindfulness journey.
Giving people the tools to access the innate clarity, calm and connection that resides within them – thereby helping them to live with more choice, authenticity and freedom. I believe it is my duty to teach the skill of awareness (to anyone who wants to listen to me!) and the right of all people to learn how to live without the often-heavy burden of their own thoughts and emotions.
I starred on the second season of “The Block” teaching one team mindfulness – they went on to win the series. Now I am not saying that was due to my session… but it is a pretty interesting co-incidence.
I am the mum of two beautiful little boys, Noah and Phoenix, and the role of motherhood has offered me more “professional development opportunities” than any other role I have held!
Liv, through her Liv Mindfully Unlocking Potential science-based program (www.livmindfully.com), has worked with our staff on a journey of mindfulness and self-awareness. Each of the five sessions has been extremely well planned and executed. Liv is a highly engaging presenter and her anecdotes have been thoughtful and sincere. The feedback from our staff verifies that Liv has managed to skillfully engage and give them simple and practical strategies to implement in their home and work life. Through the Liv Mindfully Unlocking Potential program staff have continued to practice mindfulness on a regular basis and have undertaken Mindset goals to use in their daily life.
