Jeff Raglus

Jeff Raglus is a well known artist, illustrator and musician. He has worked for Mambo Graphics, Swatch Watches and has played in musical ensembles such as The Black Sorrows and The Bachelors from Prague.

What other jobs have you had?

Brick washer, labourer and surfboard maker. I haven’t had a normal job since 1985. I have made a living from art and music ever since then.

What themes are recurring in your work?

I call my style ‘Surf-Pop-Folk'.

What have been the highlights of your career?

Doing the Sydney 2000 artwork for the Swatch Watch and the poster for the world music concert. Also my book Schnorky the Wavepuncher had a life of its own and was very good for my career.
