Geoff has worked in most areas of illustration from magazines and publishing to the many faceted world of commercial art. He has written and illustrated a number of children’s books and made the pictures for many more.

What other jobs have you had?

Most of my work has been in freelance advertising and graphic design illustration, but I’ve also worked at a factory, a timber mill and spent years working at a petrol station in the time where you actually pumped petrol, repaired tyres and checked oil.

What are you passionate about?

Helping kids to get though the ‘Reluctant Drawing Years’. I saw it with my own children. Once exuberant, creative individuals suddenly aware that they might not be as good as others, that their attempts at drawing might make them look a little silly. My advice. Well, guys, welcome to the rest of your lives, as you’re never going to shake those feelings because we all have them.
